Revelation 3:3 (2023) – Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. [cf. 2:25 – But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. I Thess. 5:21 – Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. II Tim. 1:13 – Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. Titus 1:7-9 – For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
