How I Peter 5:4 Stood Out

I Peter 5:4 (2021) – And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. [cf. Prov. 4:7-9 – Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. Prov. 16:31 – The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness. Is. 28:5 – In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people; Is. 62:2-3 – And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name. Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.]
