How James 2:4 Stood Out

James 2:4 (2022) – Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? [cf. v. 1 – My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. 3:17 – But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. I Tim. 5:20-21 – Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.]
