How Hebrews 11:25 Stood Out

Hebrews 11:25 (2023) – Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season [cf. Ps. 119:71 – It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. Ps. 34:19 – Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. II Tim. 3:12 – Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Philip. 1:29 – For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; Rom. 8:16-18 – The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.]
