How Hebrews 2:1 Stood Out

Hebrews 2:1 (2021) – Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. [cf. Prov. 4:13 – Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. Prov. 23:23 – Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. II Tim. 1:13 – Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. Titus 1:9 – Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. Rev. 3:3 – Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.]
