How Titus 1:6 Stood Out

Titus 1:6 (2024) – If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. [cf. v. 10 – For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision; CONTRAST II Cor. 10:13 – But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you. II Cor. 10:15 – Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly; Gal. 6:16 – And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. Philip. 3:16 – Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.]
