I Corinthians 10:26 (2023) – For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof. [cf. v. 28 – But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; Ps. 24:1 – The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Ps. 89:11 – The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them. Ps. 50:7,12 – Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God. ... If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. Hag. 2:8 – The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. I Cor. 7:30 – And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not Acts 4:32-35 – And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
