How Romans 14:12 Stood Out

Romans 14:12 (2024) – So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. [cf. Matt. 12:36 – But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. Luke 16:2 – And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. Rom. 14:12 – So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Heb. 13:17 – Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. I Pet. 4:3-5 – For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.]
