How Romans 2:18 Stood Out

Romans 2:18 (2024) – And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law [cf. Prov. 8:1,6 – Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? ... Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things. Prov. 22:17,20-21 – Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge. ... Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge, That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?
