How Acts 28:20 Stood Out

Acts 28:20 (2022) – For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain. [cf. 26:6 – And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers; 26:7 – Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews. Heb. 11:1 – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  Rom. 8:24-25 – For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Titus 2:13-14 – Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.]
