How Acts 17:27 Stood Out

Acts 17:27 – That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

(2024) – That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us [cf. v. 28 – For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Rom. 10:8-9 – But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. James 4:7-10 – Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.]
