Acts 10:19 – While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. (2024) – While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. [cf. Philip. 4:8 – Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Prov. 29:18 – Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Lam. 2:9 – Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD. Ezek. 7:26 – Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.
