Acts 5:20 (2024) – Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life. [cf. v. 21 – And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought. v. 24 – Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow. v. 25 – Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people. v. 42 – And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. Compare I Cor. 3:16-17 – Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. I Cor. 6:18-20 – Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. II Cor. 6:14-16 – Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
