John 11:14 – Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. (2024) – Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. [cf. Deu. 27:8 – And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly. Prov. 8:8-9 – All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God. I Sam. 2:27 – And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house? Is. 32:1,4 – Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. ... The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly. Heb. 11:13-16 – These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
