How Luke 13:18 Stood Out

Luke 13:18 (2024) – Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? [cf. v. 20 – And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? v. 28 – There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. v. 29 – And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. Luke 17:20-21 – And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Rom. 14:17 – For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. I Cor. 4:20 – For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.]
