How Luke 9:51 Stood Out

Luke 9:51 – And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

(2024) – And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem [cf. Luke 9:51 – And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem; Matt. 16:21 – From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Matt. 20:18 – Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death; Luke 13:33-35 – Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Rev. 2:10 – Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.]
