How Mark 12:24 Stood Out

Mark 12:24 – And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

(2023) – And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? [cf. James 1:16-18 – Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. James 5:19-20 – Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. Dan. 12:3 – And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.]

(2021) – And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? [cf. Ps. 17:4 – Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer. Ps. 107:20 – He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.]
