Mark 1:3 (2021) – The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. [cf. Mark 11:7-10 – And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him. And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way. And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest. Mal. 1:13-14 – Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD. But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen. Matt. 3:3 – Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance] Back to Previous Page (Or to go back to where you left off you can use the "Back" button of your browser)
