Mat. 12:7 – But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. (2024) – But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. [cf. James 5:6 – Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. Acts 3:14-15 – But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. Ps. 94:21-23 – They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge. And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off. Prov. 17:15 – He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD. Ps. 109:30-31 – I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
