Micah 7:7 (2023) – Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. [cf. Ps. 37:7-9 – Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. Ps. 130:5 – I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. Ps. 130:6 – My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
