Amos 2:4 (2021) – Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked [cf. I John 1:8 – If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. Gal. 6:3 – For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
