Hosea 10:15 (2024) – So shall Beth-el do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off. [compare Dan. 5:30 – In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. Cf. Ezra 7:26 – And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment. Ecc. 8:11 – Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.]
