Jeremiah 29:19 (2024) – Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD. Compare Mark 1:35-38 – And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth. Cf. Ps. 5:3 – My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. Ps. 57:8 – Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. Ps. 88:13 – But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.
