Isaiah 51:1 (2024) – Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. [cf. v. 2 – Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him. Heb. 11:11-12 – Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.]
