How Ecclesiastes 1:14 Stood Out

Ecclesiastes 1:14 (2023) – I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit. [cf. v. 17 – And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit. Is. 63:10 – But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them. Is. 65:14 – Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit. Luke 6:18 – And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. Acts 5:16 – There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.]
