How Proverbs 11:27 Stood Out

Proverbs 11:27 (2024) – He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him. [cf. Job 33:23-26 – If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness: Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom. His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth: He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness. Ps. 5:12 – For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Prov. 3:3-4 – Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Prov. 8:12,35 – I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. ... For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. Prov. 11:27 – He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.
