Proverbs 8:9 (2024) – They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. [cf. Deu. 27:8 – And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly. Prov. 8:8-9 – All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. Hab. 2:2 – And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. John 10:24 – Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. John 16:25-29 – These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.]
