Psalms 136:23 (2023) – Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever [cf. Luke 1:48 – For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. Rom. 12:16 – Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Rom. 12:3 – For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Philip. 2:3-4 – Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.]
