How Psalms 119:105 Stood Out

Psalms 119:105 (2023) – Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. [cf. Prov. 6:23 – For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life; Ps. 119:130 – The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. II Pet. 1:19-21 – We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Is. 8:20 – To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.]
