How Psalms 116:15 Stood Out

Psalms 116:15 (2022) – Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. [cf. Ecc. 7:1 – A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.]


117 – 1 O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.

[cf. Ps. 100:5 – For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Ps. 119:89 – For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Ps. 119:160 – Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. Matt. 24:35 – Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
