Psalms 82:5 (2021) – They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. [cf. Ps. 53:4 – Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God. [The reason they know not is that neither will they understandthey have no will to understand or to know, as confirmed by the following: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof (Prov. 1:29-30); And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient (Rom. 1:28).]]
