Psalms 72:17 (2024) – His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. [cf. 138:2 – I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. 119:89 – For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. 119:160 – Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. Is. 40:8 – The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. Rev. 14:6 – And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people]
