How Job 35:6 Stood Out

Job 35:6 – If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?


(2023) – If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him? [cf. Num. 16:38 – The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel. Prov. 8:36 – But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death. Prov. 20:2 – The fear of a king is as the roaring of a lion: whoso provoketh him to anger sinneth against his own soul. I Cor. 6:18 – Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.]
