Job 32:1 (2026) – So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes. [cf. v. 3 – Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job. v. 5 – When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled. v. 6 – And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion. v. 12 – Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words; v. 14 – Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches. v. 15 – They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking. v. 16 – When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;) v. 17 – I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion. v. 20 – I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer. Ps. 119:41-42 – VAU. Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word. So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word. Prov. 15:1 – A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. Prov. 15:28 – The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things. Prov. 16:1 – The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD. Prov. 22:20-21 – Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge, That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?
