How Job 24:2 Stood Out

Job 24:2 (2023) – Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof. [cf. Deu. 19:14 – Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour's landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it. Deu. 27:17 – Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen. Prov. 22:28 – Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set. I John 2:7 – Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. II John 1:5-6 – And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
