Job 4:21 (2024) – Doth not their excellency which is in them go away? they die, even without wisdom. [cf. Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds; Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he? The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
