II Chronicles 15:3 (2026) – Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law. [cf. v. 4 – But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them. v. 9 – And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was with him. v. 13 – That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. v. 17 – But the high places were not taken away out of Israel: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days. Gen. 32:28 – And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. James 5:16-18 – Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. II Tim. 1:7 – For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Heb. 4:14-16 – Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
