How I Chronicles 6:54 Stood Out

This page may have some technical imperfections, but is made available before inspection for you to benefit from the majority of material that likely has no problems.

I Chronicles 6:54 (2021) – Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot. [Definitely the cities of refuge would be well guarded, of which Hebron was given to the sons of Aaron (v. 57). John Wesley indicates that their other cities were also walled and well guarded, and adds that another reason they could be called castles is that God was their protector, and "a cottage will be a castle to those that abide under the shadow of the Almighty."]
