How I Chronicles 5:20 Stood Out

I Chronicles 5:20 (2022) – And they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to God in the battle, and he was intreated of them; because they put their trust in him. [cf. Ps. 4:5 – Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD. Ps. 37:3 – Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Ps. 115:11 – Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield. Ps. 118:8 – It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. Ps. 118:9 – It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes. Ps. 125:1 – They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. Prov. 3:5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Prov. 29:25 – The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe. I Tim. 6:17 – Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy]
