How I Kings 15:14 Stood Out

I Kings 15:14 (2021) – But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa's heart was perfect with the LORD all his days. [Before the temple was built, the people sacrificed in high places, because there was no house built unto the name of the LORD, until those days (I Kings 3:2). Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness (II Chr. 1:3). It must have been these high places that Asa did not remove, because he did remove the high places where idols were worshipped (II Chr. 14:2-3).]
