How I Kings 13:34 Stood Out

I Kings 13:34 (2023) – And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth. [cf. 12:30 – And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan. Compare Deu. 15:9 – Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee. Deu. 23:21 – When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee. James 4:17 – Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. II Cor. 5:20-21 – Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
