How I Kings 8:45 Stood Out

I Kings 8:45 (2023) – Then hear thou in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause. [cf. v. 49 – Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause; v. 59 – And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require; II Chr. 6:35 – Then hear thou from the heavens their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause. II Chr. 6:39 – Then hear thou from the heavens, even from thy dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive thy people which have sinned against thee. Ps. 9:3-5 – When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence. For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right. Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever. Ps. 140:12 – I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor. Ex. 23:2 – Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment; Ex. 23:6 – Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.]
