How I Kings 8:12 Stood Out

I Kings 8:12 (2023) – Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness. [cf. II Chr. 6:1 – Then said Solomon, The LORD hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness. Ex. 20:21 – And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was. Job 38:8-9 – Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it; Luke 2:7 – And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:11-12 – For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.]
