How I Kings 3:9 Stood Out

I Kings 3:9 (2023) – Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people? [cf. Ps. 49:3 – My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. Prov. 2:1-5 – My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. Prov. 8:5 – O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.]
