II Samuel 22:51 (2024) – He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore. [cf. Prov. 18:10 – The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Ps. 61:1-3 – Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.]
