How II Samuel 17:2 Stood Out

II Samuel 17:2 (2024) – And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him afraid: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only [cf. 2:7 – Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have anointed me king over them. II Chr. 15:7 – Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded. Job 4:3 – Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands. Is. 35:3 – Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Is. 35:3-4 – Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. Heb. 12:11-13 – Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.]
