II Sam. 15:26 – But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him. (2026) – But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him. [cf. Prov. 11:1 – A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight. Prov. 15:8 – The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. Ps. 37:4 – Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Ps. 1:1-3 – Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.] (2025) – But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him.
