How II Samuel 13:13 Stood Out

II Samuel 13:13 (2023) – And I, whither shall I cause my shame to go? and as for thee, thou shalt be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I pray thee, speak unto the king; for he will not withhold me from thee. [cf. v. 12 – And she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do not thou this folly. Prov. 13:16 – Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly. Prov. 14:8 – The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit. Prov. 14:24 – The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly. Prov. 16:22 – Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly. Prov. 17:12 – Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly. Prov. 26:4-5 – Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit. Prov. 26:11 – As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly. Prov. 26:12 – Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.]
