How II Samuel 2:6 Stood Out

II Samuel 2:6 (2022) – And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing. [cf. Ps. 26:3 – For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. Ps. 40:10 – I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. Ps. 40:11 – Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. Ps. 117:2 – For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD. Ps. 138:2 – I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
