How I Samuel 26:10 Stood Out

I Samuel 26:10 (2022) – David said furthermore, As the LORD liveth, the LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish. [cf. Rom. 12:19 – Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. "I will recompense" (Jer. 16:18; 25:14; Ezek. 7:4,9; 9:10; 11:21; Heb. 10:30 – For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. Prov. 20:22 – Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.)]
